Hypori/Virtual Mobility is seeking a Senior Vice President of Software Engineering & Development who is a visionary technologist with the business acumen and leadership skills to take our software development and product deliveries capabilities to the next level. Innovative, passionate, and high energy, the incumbent will have a critical, hands-on role in shaping the Company’s technological strategy, cultivating the technical environment, leading and developing our engineering resources. This position will oversee the collaboration and development of a streamlined and scalable platform to enable all business lines and to bring new products and product features to market rapidly, where we will exceed commercial and federal agency customer demand. Qualifications: • 8+ years of experience directing senior software development teams and complex code bases and associated team building. • 10+ years of technical, hands-on expertise in software development, software architecture, quality assurance, cloud infrastructure and automated deployments using CI/CD tools. • Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline (Master's Degree desirable). • Thorough understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies, Help Desk / Tiered support operations, virtualization technologies, mobile platforms such as Android and iOS, cloud technologies, secure coding methodologies and cybersecurity. • Able to operate in a fast-paced, product early-stage environment. • Must be a skilled, motivational leader who is experienced leading mobile or software engineering teams with demonstrated success delivering high-quality, innovative products based on rapidly evolving technologies. • Must thrive on solving problems and possess many years of hands-on software development skills. • Must have excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, and are adept at communicating upwards and downwards. • Must be current on the latest technologies and motivate teams to innovate. • Authorized to work in the United States and obtain a security clearance according to Company requirements. This position is a senior position responsible for secure configuration, compliance testing and implementation Intelligent Waves Product offerings for the company with commercial and government customers.
